Hi all, I have a suggestion for making this Connect discussion board space more usable -- would it be possible to break out the different modules/products into different discussion groups or boards, instead of having one General Discussion group? Or at least make it easier to search by which product has been tagged?

For myself, I feel I might log into the community more often if it were easier to see only threads related to Sponsored Projects.

    thanks,
    Michelle

    Hi Michelle,

I'd love to pick your brain about this! Do you mind if I email you privately to ask some follow up questions on how I can make the community more useful for you?

If anyone else has thoughts, just reply here or email me at simon.helton@cayuse.com. Always happy to take feedback and suggestions, I just don't want to clog anyone's inbox if they're not interested in this. Thanks!

    Simon

    Hi Simon,

The ability to set preferences might be the route to take.  As someone whose work crosses many research functions, I like seeing all the listings and then choosing which are most pertinent for me.

    Cheers,

Maybe making it easier to filter by topic tag would be a solution. That way Charna and others who want to see all modules in the discussion can see them, but others could select just to view discussions on a certain module.

Right now I can scroll until I see the topic tag I want and then click on it. But it would be nice if there were a way in the top-level menu to select or filter on the tag. Also, not everyone uses the tags. So for maximum benefit, either a Cayuse admin (or other users) could add tags to posts, or the original poster could be required to select a tag.

This would help me as well.  We have Cayuse modules about which I know very little (e.g. IRB, IACUC.....)  so I can't participate with any insight in those discussions.
