In the January 18, 2024 Human Ethics Release Notes, the 4th bullet point under the summary is "Some roles can add or change dated on a Modification submission". It's possible this is explained in the details below but I'm not seeing it – or I'm not connecting what it is talking about. Does anyone know what this update is referring to? Thanks!

    Hi Jennifer,

I was confused about this too, so I opened a ticket with Cayuse Support. They said:

This will be for the reviewer or the analyst member role who can modify this date as we always had except that now when those dates are modified inside the modification form they will take effect in the study. Before, they were able to edit those dates but changes did not apply to the study after the submission was completed and approved.

I'm not clear on how this bullet point is different from the first bullet point, so I've asked Cayuse Support for clarification.

Thanks, Jennie! I wondered if that was the case.
