We have a study where the Renewal application was submitted, reviewed, and completed.  The study team then accidentally created and the PI Certified a 2nd Renewal application.  It is currently sitting in an Under Pre-Review status.  

Anyone know if there is anyway to delete or Withdraw this duplicate submission?  I looked at the Help Center, but couldn't find anything specific for once it has been Certified by the PI.

I have run into these scenarios as well. I agree there should be an option to delete duplicate submissions.

This Help Center article gives some information on how/when you can delete a study or submission, plus in which cases you can only withdraw it. I couldn't find any enhancement requests submitted about this functionality, so if you're seeing a gap, please be sure and submit the enhancement request here.

Hello everyone,

We all have these type of cases where submissions might have been submitted by mistake or where changes might no longer apply to the study. To handle these type of situations within the product, we have now introduced a new decision to be used called "Voided". This new decision  will allow us to complete those Renewal or Modification submissions without accepting the changes sent as a request for the study.

This new addition will be available in our upcoming release.

We are also currently working on a new Review Type called "Admin Level Review" which can be used along with this new decision in future releases of the product.

These new functions introduced to the product should allow us to adopt and handle these type of cases and separate submission rejections vs cancelled submissions.

In the mean time, please open a support ticket and we will be happy to delete the submission on your behalf.
