Conference of Southern Graduate Schools

As we prepare to gather in Tampa, Florida on March 2-4, 2023, our theme is Building Bridges to a Brighter Future in Graduate Education. In looking toward this bright future and at the environment in Tampa, we see bridges as an appropriate and timely organizing idea.

Bridges connect. Bridges unite. Bridges traverse. Bridges transform. Bridges lift us and others.

With this theme in mind and guided by the desire to place innovation, collaboration, and solutions at the forefront of our continued graduate education discussions, the Executive Committee is calling for proposals for the CSGS 2023 Annual Meeting that connect with our bridge theme. We especially encourage proposals for concurrent sessions and posters that demonstrate strategic action and transformative practices — that is, solutions — in the following areas:

• Creating and Leading Systemic Change

• Rebuilding Graduate Community

• Supporting and Transforming Multiple Graduate Cultures and Modalities
