The University of Minnesota's
College of Education and Human Development seeks applications for a pre-award grant coordinator position. Grant coordinators work directly with investigators to develop and prepare grant proposals, and serve as the first point of contact for research-related questions in their units. Job responsibilities include helping to identify funding opportunities and advising on grant management issues.
This is a great opportunity for someone with university grants experience who is interested in working with non-standard sponsors, building relationships, and supporting
research that makes a difference in people's lives. This position is part of a supportive, flexible team with a great sense of humor that's also dedicated to providing excellent support to PIs and collegiate units. Out-of-state remote work is possible for the right candidate.
This position will be categorized as a Grants & Contracts Professional 2 or 3 (Pre-Award Administration), depending on the applicant's qualifications. Salary range for the P2 level is $60,000-$70,000; $70,000-$80,000 for P3. Please contact Ellen Freeman at
efreeman@umn.edu with questions.
