We have implemented the Cayuse Repository (among other Cayuse modules) and as part of that our staff are able to authenticate their ORCID id automatically from within the repository. The ORCID id then displays on their researcher profiles and is used for matching harvested outputs from Web of Science. Here is an example of one of our profiles demonstrating the ORCID display and integration (John Bell). We are also eagerly waiting on ORCID harvesting functionality which will be both a push to and a pull from ORCID to our Repository. The skeleton of the functionality exists but is currently switched off for us while we are waiting on some refinements. We are hoping to have it up and running by the end of the year.

Our institution is exploring a membership with Orchid ID. We understand that there are some components of both platforms that may interface smoothly and others that don't. I've been tasked with getting a better understanding of how Cayuse can work with Orchid, any workarounds other users may have found, and Cayuse timeline for integration.
