@ladonna is there an answer to my question about the continued development of import/export using ORCID?

Hi Claire,
We do have this capability in the Haplo/Cayuse repository - ORCID and the repository have a push/pull connection which means that where an ORCID has been authenticated within the Cayuse system, you can add the information in ORCID and it appears in Haplo, and vice versa (with some mediatory admin, as Nina says). However, we are having a lot of issues with it at the moment, and it is very bug-heavy, even though it was great when we first got it, so proceed with caution!
Thanks,
Cassie

It is annoying because we were told this was going to happen for us (I am pretty sure I'm not making this up) and now it seems like that's not the case. But perhaps someone from Cayuse will enlighten us soon.

Hi Claire,
At Westminster our repository is linked to ORCID and research outputs import/export between the two. It is a little complicated and the imported records have to go to admin staff for action as sending them directly to academics didn't work. I believe we aren't the only (former Haplo) repository that has this functionality.

Hi,
Will it ever be possible to import/export between Cayuse repository and ORCID profiles. I had thought this was supposed to be the next stage now that ORCIDs can be linked to Cayuse, but I recently queried this via the Cayuse helpdesk and there seems to be some uncertainty. The helpdesk staff suggested I post here.
