I'm curious if anyone can help.

I work for a corporation where we publish a lot of case studies, trade journal articles, and some scholarly publications. Is anyone aware of software that would allow the SMEs to login their work (ie: name of article, publication, target date, abstract, etc...) where this would automatically populate a calendar or a log. Right now, everything is manual. I'm trying to write, edit, and submit publications plus manage this flow of information by hand.

If anyone has suggestions for software, processes, systems, etc..., please let me know.

You could build a web form for their entries, then build reports based on the data. Check out Wufoo.com.

    Hi Tim,

Thank you so much for the quick response. That is a great idea and a way to organize all of these requests in one place. Right now, they all land in my inbox and I don't have any rules set up. If I don't catch these, they can easily get overlooked.

I'm just 5-weeks new to my role so I'm learning so many things and have to set up processes, too.

Are you aware of any associations, LinkedIn groups, etc... geared more towards the practitioner that might also be helpful?

    Best,
    Michelle
