Tulane University in New Orleans is seeking two experienced research administrators to lead the pre-award and post-award functions of a newly centralized Research Administration team. Tulane's new Research Administration Service Units provide high-quality, consistent, and timely research administrative services to Tulane schools, centers, and departments. We deliver services in a cost-effective, efficient, and professional manner while upholding compliance, ethics, and integrity. We provide in-depth subject matter expertise and knowledge to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and University policies, practices, and procedures. Research Administration Service Units (RASU) are dedicated to exceptional research administration services. As we embark on this new mission, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead the Research Administration Service Unit for the Schools of Public Health and Social Work.
Candidates should have robust knowledge of federal grant rules and regulations, the expertise to analyze data to formulate conclusions, high-level interpersonal skills, the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a special ability to motivate and influence direct reports.
