The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) is NYU's central pre-award research administration office responsible for the review and management of externally funded proposals and awards for a diverse range of federal, state, local, private, and industrial sponsors.
The Projects Officer/Grants Administrator will be responsible for managing a portfolio of investigators and units and providing customer-focused support for:
- Development and submission of extramural funding proposals
- Review and processing of incoming sponsored awards
- Interpretation of funding agency and institutional guidelines governing sponsored programs to ensure institutional compliance
The Projects Officer/Grants Administrator also provides support for key OSP management functions including oversight of data quality assurance/quality control initiatives (QA/QC) for Cayuse SP (NYU's system of record for sponsored projects) and serves as a Cayuse SP system administrator, technical expert and central contact for system-related questions and issues and oversees communication resources for the office.
