    The Office of Sponsored Programs & Research Compliance at the State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz invites applications for a Sponsored Funding Support Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Sponsored Programs, this role will provide support for sponsored funding proposals and grant management.     Duties for this position include but are not limited to:
    • Supporting post-award and human resources activities by assisting with award reporting, expenditure tracking and monitoring, coordinating employment paperwork, and award closeout
    • Assisting with award-related data-management and tracking and report production
    • Participating in pre-award activities through assisting with budget development, application tracking data management, proposal submission, and award establishment

    Qualifications: Required:
    • Bachelor's degree
    • 1-3 years of experience in sponsored program pre- and/or post-award administration
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
    • Excellent organization, time-management, and oral/written communication skills
    • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    • Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals
    • The ability to work independently and as a member of a dynamic professional team

    Preferred:
    • 3 or more years of research administration experience in a university setting
    • Working knowledge of the content and use of OMB Uniform Guidance
    • Experience with proposal development and submission through a variety of sponsor mechanisms (e.g. Grants.gov, Research.gov)
    • Familiarity with current and emerging compliance issues affecting grants and contracts
    • Familiarity with grants management software
    • Familiarity with Adobe Sign and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
    • Experience with Microsoft Teams and related Office 365 applications (Forms, Planner, SharePoint, etc.)
    • Experience with Microsoft Access
