  • 1.  Remote-Friendly Pre-Award Positions! Deadline 11.9.22 to Apply

    Posted 10-28-2022 11:56

The University of Kentucky College of Medicine Sponsored Research Administrative Services (SRAS) office is pleased to announce the availability of two Pre-Award positions--a Senior Grant Proposal Specialist and Grant Proposal Specialist.  Deadline to apply Wednesday, November 9, 2022.

Both are eligible for remote work with appropriate experience

Our office is remote-friendly with Pre-Award staff members that span both coasts and multiple states in between.

For either Pre-Award position, you'll provide grant proposal support to a group of departments and centers within the College of Medicine. You'll be primarily responsible for working with faculty on the administrative and budgetary aspects of their research proposals. As part of your daily responsibilities, you'll provide grant-related policy knowledge and guidance to College faculty members. The main goals are to ensure a high level of compliance with all applicable policies and regulations, while helping to ensure that each proposal passes the muster of a sponsor's administrative and budgetary requirements. For each faculty member's proposal that is funded, we know that one of our staff members played a part in that success story.

The key to our office's success is providing exceptional service. We do that through our on-time assistance, focus on project and timeline management, and continual learning in the field of Research Administration.

Minimum requirements for the Senior GPS position are:

--A Master's degree and 4 years of related experience.

Minimum requirements for the Grant Proposal Specialist position are:

----A Master's degree and 1 year of related experience.

Per UK's equivalency policy, experience can be substituted for education.  UK encourages all interested applicants to submit an application.
