Knight Cancer Institute of Oregon Health and Science University is seeking a Post-Award Grants Manager (Grants Financial Manager) to lead our team of post-award financial analysts.
This position is a flex-work arrangement hybrid/primarily remote, with occasional work on site.
The Knight Cancer Institute is complex program whose mission is to develop excellence in fundamental cancer research, facilitate the translation of research into improvements in patient care, and ultimately change cancer as we know it. This position oversees financial policies, procedures, reporting and analysis for grants in the Knight Cancer Institute under the supervision of Knight Cancer Institute (the Institute) Finance Director. Provides consolidated financial reports of grants for the management team. Prepares financial reports and projections for Principle Investigators for all accounts (grants, OHSU and Foundation funds and orgs and commitments) with analysis of variances including options for improving budget performance, correcting negative trends and recommending cost efficiencies. Processes financial transactions associated with purchasing and A/P and A/R. In addition, assist with the management of the grant transfer process for transferring labs. Provide review of awards, audit efforts and post award support for external departments. Provide training on all post-award activities. The Grants Financial Manager is essential in maintaining an effectively functioning department and fosters positive inter- and intra-departmental relationships.
