We are growing and have a new Pre-Award Specialist (Program Representative 2) position in our College of Agricultural Sciences Sponsored Programs Services office (remote and hybrid are available). You will support our faculty through external research development, advising of institutional and agency guidelines, policies and procedures to identify and submit externally sponsored project applications to federal, state, foundation, and industry sponsors.
We are looking for someone who enjoys detail oriented/deadline-driven work, is up for learning the complexities of a wide range of sponsors and proposals, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. Even though pre-award research administration experience is preferred, please apply if you have excellent time management skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, are a great team player, have worked in an environment that required knowledge and implementation of federal or state compliance, and/or have at least two years of experience analyzing, monitoring, representing, and reviewing programs.

This position can be fully remote, in-person, or hybrid. Remote work schedules are based in the Pacific Time zone. This classified staff position provides annual increases within the 10-step range (currently $54,996 – $84,180).
