Looking for a remote supervising proposal position in 2022?
Come join a growing research program at Oregon State University in a new supervisory proposal position (remote work location is available). The Managing Proposal Analyst is a new position that will supervise our team of amazing Proposal Analysts in our sponsored programs office.
Your primary role is to lead, motivate, and coordinate a team of four Proposal Analysts who support our faculty through pre-award review of submissions to federal, state, foundation, and industry sponsors. Technology upgrades and process/policy improvements are a secondary responsibility. In addition, you will lead our large proposal review process that will focus on large and complex proposals that are strategically important to the university.
We are looking for someone who enjoys leading a team, understands the complexities of large proposals, and thrives in a team oriented environment. Oregon State's sponsored programs office is an exciting place to work with a wide range of sponsors and colleges. We submitted 2000 proposals last year with $950M in proposed funding.
Oregon State University is located in Corvallis, a beautiful college town in the Pacific Northwest. A remote work arrangement will be considered. Remote work schedules are based in the Pacific Time zone.
