Job Summary:
The RSP Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all research and teaching activities involving animal subjects, human subjects or biological materials are conducted safely, ethically, and in compliance with Federal, State, and institutional policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree plus two years of administrative support experience in a research compliance area such as animal subjects (Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), Human Subjects (Institutional Review Board (IRB), Institutional Biosafety (Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC), Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) or experience working with animals in a research, teaching environment or related field.
- Ability to understand and interpret federal laws and regulations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills. Ability to manage timelines and multiple priorities. Capable of working independently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. This position involves interacting with employees, customers, consultants, and/or vendors at all levels of the organization.
