The Institute for Modeling Collaboration and Innovation (IMCI) at the University of Idaho (U of I) invites applications for a full-time Business Specialist III position. This position works in concert with Principal Investigators and the Office of Sponsored Programs to effectively submit competitive grant proposals. The Business Specialist III is responsible for sponsored project initiation and compliance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing guidance to IMCI researchers in the development of proposals, interpretation of request for proposals guidelines, assisting with navigating the U of I systems and granting agencies grant proposal portals, administrative requirements, Federal 2 CFR 200 – Uniform Administrative Requirements, cost accounting principles and university policies. In addition, this position processes a variety of financial transactions, compiles data and generates routine and ad hoc financial reports and maintains records.
