Illinois Tech is accepting applications for a Director of Research Administration Services. The successful candidate will provide leadership, supervision and overall guidance to faculty who have funding for research projects. Reporting to the Associate Vice Provost for Research, the Director of RAS will collaborate with the Director of Grant and Contract Accounting (GCA) and the Director of Sponsored Research and Programs (SRP) to develop procedures and processes according to best practices for non-financial post award grant management and overall grant compliance matters (post award). The Director will resolve complicated issues related to post award matters. The Director will develop a timely and effective system for time and effort reporting. The Director will also supervise the staff of the RAS department.
