The Grant and Contract Officer I and II (GCOI & GCOII) has delegated authority as an institutional authorizing official for negotiation, acceptance and signature of externally funded research agreements and outgoing sub-agreements for federal, state, non-profit, and flow-through sponsors. This position provides faculty, researchers, and staff with guidance on financial, administrative, and regulatory issues arising during the review, negotiation, and acceptance of sponsored awards. Extensive interactions are required with researchers, university administration and external agency officials within complex institutional settings. In addition, the incumbent is expected to provide excellent customer service and assistance to OSU's faculty, as well as nurture positive relationships both inside and outside of OSU.
