California Institute of Technology Office of Sponsored Research has an opening for a Grant Analyst in the campus central office.

The Contract and Grant Analyst works in a deadline-driven, team environment, and is supervised by a Contract and Grant Officer. The Analyst is responsible for a number of pre- and post-award research administration functions within the Office of Sponsored Research. These functions include interpretation of solicitations, proposal review and submission, grant negotiation and acceptance, handling of post award modifications, and interpretation of award terms. The Contract and Grant Analyst will enter award terms and budgets into the Oracle-based financial system for transition to the office of Post Award Administration for post-award financial accounting, invoicing, and payment processing.

Due to COVID-19, this position is functioning remotely, requiring telework. It is anticipated that the efforts will transition back to an in-office or hybrid work environment when City of Pasadena restrictions are lifted to allow full repopulation of campus administrative offices (anticipated September 2021).
