Hi Domenica,
Have you looked at ClickUp for this purpose until the feature is added to Cayuse?
ClickUp is a task management system (free and paid versions)
and it recently introduced the ability to send emails depending on certain conditions.
If each proposal was entered as a task and submission due date = task due date,
then you can update the status when the due date is 24 hours away to "P
roposal due in less than 24 hours"
or however you want to configure it.
Then when a task is in that status, ClickUp will email this person/these people. However, it's dependent on
someone setting the status. ClickUp also has priority flags that I can see working in this way as well.
I'd be happy to discuss it more or demo the process for you if it'll help.

Subject: Deadlines, deadlines, deadlines!
Hi Domenica,
Just jumping into this chat to see if @Jeanne Hermann might offer
some insights, as I know she sends regular reports (daily or weekly)
to the Deans about pending SP proposals that still need approval?
Thanks,
Matty

Subject: Deadlines, deadlines, deadlines!
Hello Colleagues,
If you're familiar with NSF Fastlane, on the day of the deadline Fastlane posts a message to the corresponding proposal which says something like "your proposal is due in less than 24 hours".
Does anyone have any type of system that automatically sends messages to the PIs to let them know that they have not met their internal deadlines? Does anyone know of a way to pull this information out of Cayuse? I was thinking of using the "events" feature, but it seems like we would have to calculate dates.
Looking for ideas!
Thanks,
Domenica
