    The Institutional Effectiveness (IE) Office at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is hiring for an Institutional Policy Analyst II (Institutional Research Administrator). The IE office is a department under the umbrella of the Chancellor's office, with this position reporting directly to the Assistant Chancellor for Institutional Effectiveness. We are a small, hard-working team committed to advancing research, strategic planning, and data-informed decision-making at UW Oshkosh. We support a large number of units, departments and divisions across campus and have been involved in a variety of projects and initiatives to advance UW Oshkosh as a research-enhanced comprehensive university.  

    Job Summary: The Institutional Policy Analyst II (Working Title: IR Administrator) gathers, researches, analyzes, interprets, and summarizes institutional and student data in support of strategic planning, policy-making decisions, needs assessments, and alignment with organizational goals. The incumbent will collaborate with key stakeholders, collect data and provide regular insights to executive leaders to inform decision-making. Will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for technical and business processes surrounding institution and student data analytics. Serves as campus liaison for Institutional Research (IR) reports and primary contact for enrollment predictions, modeling and ranking surveys. Also serves as the responsible party for updating the UWO Factbook and responding to incoming stakeholder requests for campus data. Will also support the Data Governance advisory group and their efforts to maintain a safe and secure environment for university data. 

    This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), fixed term renewable appointment reporting to the Assistant Chancellor for Institutional Effectiveness. In this position, hybrid or remote work assignment may be possible; travel for training or meetings may occasionally be required. Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications, with an anticipated salary of $65,000 - $82,500 plus an excellent benefits package for all benefit-eligible positions.
