    Hi everyone,

    For any of you using Cayuse Outside Interests, we're seeking input on your most commonly-used reporting metrics. What are they and if you could have OI reports out of the box, what would they be? Let us know in this discussion thread.

    Hi Simon,

    We have had Outside Interests for close to a year, but we are still learning as we're going. So we really haven't been using reporting much. I have played around in it a little and I like how flexible it is for getting specific data, but there is a little bit of a learning curve for how it works.

    Hello, we would like to see all of the fields we create in OI available in the standard OI reports. For example, because OI is not linked to our Cayuse SP (old platform) we created a field on OI for faculty to enter in a Proposal # from SP, but in OI Reporting that field does not appear as on option to include on a report.  Thank you.

    Thank you Jeanne for this suggestion.  That would also be my top request.  

    I would also like to be able to run reports that provide productivity information by approver, to include information about the number of disclosures approved by the system.  This may already be available as we are new clients and I have not had much time to play with reporting yet.

    Hello All!

    Thank you for sharing your thoughts and requests.  I wanted to respond to make sure that you know that we're noting these down.

    While I am always keeping my eye out for new ways of using and interpreting OI information, I am happy to see that you all have confirmed enhancements that we are planning for future reports in OI.  We do not have an exact timeline on those improvements right now but I will let this community know when we do.  In the meantime, please keep your ideas coming!

    Hi Simon,

    As we consider adding OI to our suite of Cayuse products, I'd be most interested in the ability to export data for our own in depth reporting via Power BI. We'd also be very interested in reporting at the unit level.

    I would like to belatedly echo Jeanne's and similar responses.  We would like to be able to look at and report on all fields in our OI form, including responses within the SFI objects.
