    Hi everyone

    I'm going to be moving into the IRB admin role at my university. I'm on the look at for in-person training opportunities to bring me up to speed. Does anyone have any recommendations?

    Welcome to the IRB world!  I'm not finding any in-person training before PRIM&R's annual conference in November.  Their pre-conference agenda usually contains a full day course for those new to the field.

    Can you be more specific? Assuming you want a University point of view. Do you have policies/procedures as a guide? Are you looking to shadow an office or have someone go to you, or attend a general group training? How many people work in your IRB? Are you it? 

    The AAHRPP annual is coming up in a couple of weeks in San Diego.

    OHRP also has training available online for persons who are interested. It's free and delivered on demand, so this can be a very useful option for small offices.
