The Salt Lake Community College Office of Sponsored Projects has an exciting job opportunity for a Sponsored Projects Officer 3. We are looking for someone who would like to join a fast paced sponsored projects team as a support specialist to faculty and staff in the pre-award, award acceptance, and post-award processes. We offer support from idea concept, inception of proposal development, submission, award acceptance, and post-award compliance (programmatic and reporting). Each Sponsored Project Officer has an assigned portfolio, and work with their faculty/staff through the entire inception to completion process.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in business, communication, finance, public administration, healthcare administration, nonprofit management, sciences, humanities, social sciences, or related field. Six (6) years of direct, full-time, paid experience in public grant administration (pre and post-award), research administration, government contract management, budgeting, and experience working with a variety of federal sponsors.
