    Position: Proposal Training Specialist
    Location: Atlanta, GA
    Salary Range: $55,029 - $74,841
    Unit: Research Education, Outreach, & Strategic Support

    Are you a dynamic trainer who thrives at the intersection of learning and research? Do you enjoy helping others succeed by making complex information understandable and actionable? Georgia Tech is looking for a Proposal Training Specialist to energize and educate our world-class faculty, staff, and students as they navigate the research proposal and submission process.

    In this exciting role, you'll help to design and deliver impactful training experiences that empower researchers and administrators to confidently use proposal development tools and follow federal, state, and institutional guidelines. You'll be at the forefront of supporting our robust research enterprise!

    What You'll Do:
    • Create and lead training programs tailored to research administration and proposal development.

    • Deliver engaging instruction via in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats.

    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and relevance.

    • Guide faculty and staff through proposal preparation and submission systems like Cayuse, Research.gov, and eRA Commons.

    • Evaluate training success through metrics and feedback – and continuously improve.

    • Ensure alignment with policies, regulations, and best practices in research administration.


    What We're Looking For
    :
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Adult Education, Instructional Technology, or a related field - or equivalent experience.

    • Experience: 4-5 years of experience in training, instructional design, or research administration.

    • Certifications: Ability to obtain Certified Research Administrator (CRA) certification (or equivalent) within one year of hire.

    • Bonus Points For: CRA and/or CPLP certifications, and familiarity with federal research regulations and submission systems.
