    Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone has figured out a way to track the number of times a submission is returned for edit from the current Classic reporting options in Human Ethics on the Platform.  (I have tried it in Beta reporting, but get many duplicates.)

    Am I not "seeing" something?

    Hi Darcy,

Nope, we haven't found a way to report on this either. We've brainstormed workarounds, but haven't come up with anything yet. We don't think it's possible until Cayuse adds it as a reportable field/variable.

I'd love to be able to do this as well and can't figure it out. For now, we'll continue to track this information in excel since it's vital...

We would love to be able to report on this as well. It gives us an idea of the things we need to train the study coordinators on, and without these reports, we feel we are dead in the water without a leg to stand on.

My background before coming to the IRB was in data collection and basic analysis. I created a separate database when I arrive 11 years ago to track our performance statistics. We have had 3 different systems in those years, Cayuse for the past 8 months. I use the decisions tab to count the number of back and forth. So when a submission is approved I enter information in the database form. I can now bring up statistics, and information not collected anywhere else, very quickly. This also builds the approval report for board meetings.  It's a little extra effort upfront, but worth it to us in the end.
