    Hi all,

    I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing CITI not synching with Human Ethics?

    We are getting "no records found" for individuals I can verify have the correct email and current training when accessing their CITI record as a CITI administrator.

    Trying to figure out if my support ticket should be my internal IT, Cayuse, or CITI.

    Hi Darcy,

    There is currently an issue with CITI. Here is the email from our Support team that went out this morning:

    Greetings Cayuse Community,

    I wanted to provide an update into the CITI Integration incident which some users are experiencing. Our team continues to work to restore the integration. They believe they have identified the cause of the issue. I will send out an update with more information when it becomes available.

    Hi Simon,

    I also did not receive this announcement from Kevin. I sent an email to both CITI and Cayuse yesterday afternoon. Josh Jones with Cayuse responded with the following: This was the first and only time that I knew there was a problem and that it was on Cayuse's end.

    Hi there - I didn't receive that email either regarding the CITI automatic upload. It seems like our animal oversight program is also not syncing with CITI.

    Hi Brittany,

    I asked the relevant folks and they said this shouldn't affect Animal Oversight. I'd recommend opening a support ticket to have this investigated. Thanks!

    Has this been resolved yet? I noticed yesterday, while I could now "View" the trainings and the Course Name; Group; and Stage were populated/showing, the Status Field; Completion Date and Expiration Date were still blank.

    I have received the emails, but am adding my voice in hopes that the issue gets fixed soon. We either change our procedures to have CITI certificates uploaded by PIs or we have to request them individually when we receive submissions. We are doing the latter because it's not good practice to change procedures for a temporary issue, but it's been going on for quite some time. It's extra work and frustration for all. I hope it gets fixed soon.

    When we first launched Cayuse CITI was not integrated. As a work around I put their date in the address line and their credentials under office phone. When the name is selected it shows in the line. I started to get out of the habit; however, I now see the value in continuing. PIs are required to upload their CITI reports anyway; this step eliminates some time in review as the date has been verified.

    Good afternoon all,

     

    We want to offer up some information that gives visibility into resolution for the CITI issue. 

     

    We have deployed a fix to UAT that restores both the missing Completion Date and Expiration Date fields. Most of you do not have your CITI service set up in UAT – only PROD. If your UAT has the CITI service configured, you're able to validate the dates are restored at this time. This will be deployed to your PROD environments no later than end of day Friday and will require zero downtime.

     

    We are still working on a fix that restores the Status field in Human Ethics. This will be deployed in a fast follow to UAT, then PROD. As soon as we have a timeline, we will update this thread

    Hello again!

    I have just confirmed with the team that the latest hotfix, now in UAT, does in fact resolve all issues with dates and statuses.  This hotfix will be deployed tomorrow morning Pacific time with no downtime or interruption.
