    Hello again everyone!

    This week's tip is all about privacy, something that's good to know for any community or social media platform you're on.

    For the Connect Community, privacy settings are in your profile under MY ACCOUNT (but for a shortcut, here's a direct link to them).

    On that page, you'll see a lengthy list of types of information about yourself. Each one has its own dropdown menu to choose who should be able to see it. For instance, here's one for your email address:

    You can choose from the following options:
    • My Contacts: These are people who you've added or accepted as a contact, just like you might on LinkedIn. This means only your contacts can see this information.
    • Members Only: This option means only people have accounts in the Connect Community can see this information.
    • Public: This means anyone with a link to your profile can see this information, whether they're logged in or not. It also means it could show up in a search engine.
    • Only Me: This means no one can see this information but you.

    Choose whichever option you're comfortable with and then click the Save button at the bottom. One important note: You will still see all of the information on your own profile, so it might look like the changes haven't taken effect, but they have!
