    Hello, collective wisdom resources!

We have a new assistant professor moving here in January, and she's bringing a USDA REE-NIFA grant with her.  She's been told we'll have to submit a transfer application via using "the AFRI PD Transfer RFA, that has the Funding Opportunity Number associated with the PD Transfer Application…"  They can't give us the RFA number because it will be in FY24, and they keep "patting her head" saying, "don't you worry about it; we'll give you all the instructions you need."  I'm naturally starting to hyperventilate.
Has anyone done one of these in the past, and were you able to do it via Cayuse?

We did this once with NIH as I remember several years ago.  What THEY did was create an opportunity for us and then we were able to complete it in Cayuse.

Yes, I have- and it's not hard.  But I did use and created a workspace and did it that way.  Has the original university formally relinquished?  You're going to need to know how much you are applying for, after all.  I've found, as is the way in these matters, that coordinating with the other research administrators involved will get you better results ;)
