Amanda,
I'm grateful for the free content! (I've had to develop in-house training courses, which are costly to produce.
I find this series comprehensive and helpful, especially for junior researchers who don't have much experience.
That being said, we do not conduct biomedical studies, which I understand to be a much larger regulation lift.
All the best,
Dawn

Dawn,
Appreciate your response! A little off topic, what is your opinion on the OHRP Training?

Good morning!
Yes, my small SBER institution does not subscribe to CITI either.
And, while you can add other IRB trainings to individual user profiles (after you set up and name the training - ours is OHRP), it does not allow for the same monitoring capability, only for CITI.
Perhaps this capability is something they are still working on as part of their roadmap as we were informed this functionality would be included as part of the upgrade to the platform. So for now, I continue with my separate Excel IRB training log whereby filtering, I can see and notify when someone needs renewal.
Best,
Dawn

Hello Everyone,
Asking if anyone has an alternative for Training/Certifications (especially in Cayuse-HE) besides CITI? We accept ACRP but for renewing you have to be an ACRP Member to take their refresher course ($500). Our department is unable to afford CITI and wondering if anyone else is having this problem, especially keeping track of certs.
Thanks!
