    Hello All;

    In the Grants Module, has anyone had any luck with tracking hourly employees on projects?  Perhaps there is a better way to do this?
    I have many projects that utilize temporary and student employees that I would like to be able to report on their effort for financial reviews.

    Any suggestions or guidance would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    I'm sorry you haven't gotten an answer yet, Michelle! I'm going to tag some other Grants experts who might have an answer:

    Thanks for tagging me Simon!  @Michelle Davis I apologize for not responding sooner.  I'm guessing translating the students hourly into a percentage effort would probably be too tricky and more trouble than it's worth.  However, would adding the student to the EMPLOYEE tab and entering the flat amount paid (rather than percentage) for that budget period work?  You could potentially add them multiple times during the budget period with the start/end date fields for their pay period/work cycle.

    Let me know if that makes sense, or if you want to dig into it further!

    Hello Heather,

    Thank you for taking the time to respond.  This is in essence the solution that we came up with as well.  It is a little bit cumbersome as we often do not know the amount the employee will be working from one period to the next and it requires an extra amount of administrative burden to add so many hourly employees manually each pay period.  But, if we want to track them, this is the only solution that we have found.

    Thank you!
