  • 1.  "Hiding" salary information - Private Universities

    Dear Colleagues,

    This post is primarily for private Universities and other private institutions.

    My institution does not use HR Connect, therefore faculty are not able to see other individuals' salaries. However, they may be able to access that information via the proposal submission.

    How are organizations handling the privacy of PI salaries when developing budgets and/or loading that information into the Cayuse Research Platform?

    When developing the budget with the PI and Co-PI, do you use a template which would "hide" this information?

    Hi @Domenica Pappas! I know this other discussion isn't exactly the same question, but I thought it might still have some useful pieces of information.​

    We do have a salary permission role now on the platform that allows institutions to restrict who sees salary related information, so for anyone not on the platform yet, that's a benefit to look forward to!
