  • 1.  Archived Studies

    Posted 23 days ago

Our Institution is a teaching hospital, and we do a lot of Academic Research. That being said residents and fellows submit studies for exemption. These types of studies do not expire but the analyst does a yearly admin check in, and after several attempts and no response we admin close the study. There are instances where the residents and fellows will respond after the admin closure and tell us the study is still ongoing. It would be great if the analyst can have the ability to re-open the study rather than having it be re-submitted.

I tried replying on the Cayuse community page, but I couldn't log in. Anyhoo, our policy for exempt determinations is a 3 year check in. We do the same thing, it is archived as admin closure at that point. They would have to resubmit to continue.
