Location: Orange, CA and Irvine, CA

This position is currently remote with the potential to continue as remote. However, the chosen candidate must live in California, Maryland, or Arizona.
Summary:
The Sponsored Projects Analyst serves as an extension of the Office of Research to the Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences. Works with principal investigators, faculty and staff to coordinate pre- and post-award activities for grants and/or contracts. Post-award responsibilities include budget analysis and projection, preparation of financial reports, monthly expenditure review, reconciliation, and preparation for project close-out. Monitor project accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies. Assist with grant development activities including proposal and budget preparation, review and submission in Cayuse and 424 systems. Provide guidance on funding agency regulations as well as Chapman University's administrative and fiscal policies. This position will support both the Orange and Rinker campuses.
