Chapman University's Sponsored Projects Services in the Office of Research has an opening for a Sponsored Projects Analyst.
The Sponsored Projects Analyst serves as an extension of the Office of Research to the Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences. Works with principal investigators, faculty and staff to coordinate pre- and post-award activities for grants and/or contracts. Post-award responsibilities include budget analysis and projection, preparation of financial reports, monthly expenditure review, reconciliation, and preparation for project close-out. Monitor project accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies. Assist with grant development activities including proposal and budget preparation, review and submission in Cayuse and 424 systems. Provide guidance on funding agency regulations as well as Chapman University's administrative and fiscal policies. This position will support both the Orange and Irvine campuses in Orange County, CA.
This position is currently remote with the potential to continue as remote for candidates residing in California, Maryland, or Arizona.
This position is jointly managed by Chapman's Sponsored Projects Services and Crean College, and supports faculty at Chapman's campuses in Orange and Irvine, CA.
