Job Summary:
The Research Compliance Coordinator coordinates the activities of the Institutional Review Board (IRB), Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), and Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC). Assists Office of Research to maintain institutional compliance with all regulations pertaining to research involving human subjects, animals, infectious agents, and recombinant DNA. Applies federal and state regulations and university policies & procedures pertaining to research involving human subjects, animals, infectious agents, and recombinant DNA. Conducts initial review of research applications to determine the appropriate level of review and to assure compliance with applicable requirements. Reviews materials submitted to regulatory committees in accordance with applicable regulations. Coordinates committee matters with internal and external constituencies. Provides guidance to faculty, staff and students in preparation of proposal submission. Coordinates and performs data recording/record keeping operations. Regularly uses IRBManager database software and Cayuse to track submissions. Monitors and tracks research-related training documentation for researchers. Performs other duties as assigned.


Hiring Range: $16.53 - $18.60, Hourly
