Regarding Cayuse Human Ethics, I am interested in hearing from others about the various metrics people are reporting on and/or are looking for. I hope to use this information to generate news ideas on reportable metrics and potential new data sources.
I will begin by summarizing some of the different metrics I have gathered for reports. To be clear, not all of these are regularly reported.
- Yearly number of approved protocols across department and colleges
- Number of current active protocols across department and colleges
- Number of submitted submissions by type, review level (including NHSR), and year
- Average number of processed submissions by day
- Average number of submissions (and resubmissions) by day
- Number of initial submissions reviewed by the Chair
- Number of new protocols and modifications a year before COVID compared to a year "after"
Looking forward to hearing about what other people report and look for. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about how I was able to get the information for some of the reports above. Hint, I used the Cayuse automated emails for some of these.
