The University of Minnesota's Department of Pediatrics has an opening for a Grants & Contracts Preaward Professional.
The Pediatric Research Support Services (Peds-RSS) Office serves investigators in the Department of Pediatrics and the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women's Health. The Grants/Contracts Professional 3-Preaward will join the Peds-RSS team in supporting investigators engaged in translational, clinical and basic research. The Peds-RSS team is responsible for pre- and non-financial post-award coordination and project management of federal, foundation, and industry sponsored grants and contracts. The Grants/Contracts Professional 3 will manage an independent workload of grant activity, including proposal and progress report submissions, compliance monitoring, data and file management, and other administrative tasks. This individual will provide expert guidance to PIs and other staff on the preparation, submission, and non-financial post-award management of external and internal funding. Peds-RSS has a history of strong mentorship for team members and offers an environment for collaboration and growth in departmental research administration.
