    About the Position:  The Assistant Director will enhance infrastructure to support growth in university research, with responsibility for maintaining and supporting eRA systems for sponsored programs and effort reporting, as well as for tracking and reporting sponsored programs activity.  The position will also provide pre- and post-award support for academic units as an integral part of the OSP team.   This position will have some telework flexibility.  Primary functions include:

    • Overseeing/managing data reporting function for sponsored program activity including data control and maintenance
    • Assisting with new implementation of an eRA solution (Cayuse) for sponsored award management
    • Work with faculty, researchers, and other business units engaged in sponsored programs-related work to provide training and support
    • Maintaining eRA system functionality and performing system-related tasks within Cayuse and ECRT (effort reporting), including troubleshooting/resolving issues with vendors, the NSU IT office, and academic units
    • Conducting periodic audits of the system and internal controls to ensure process and data integrity
    • Provide support for proposal review/submission and award management as may be needed for effective operation.
