The Department of Biology at Colorado State University, located in Fort Collins, CO, seeks to hire a full-time Research Proposal Coordinator to research and support the preparation of complex scientific research proposals to a wide variety of federal, state, industry, foundation, and other sponsors. Key responsibilities include proposal development, investigating the availability of funding programs, researching submission and compliance requirements, and developing proposal budgets, budget justifications, and other financial documentation. This employee will serve as the department expert on proposal opportunities, guidelines, and requirements.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma (or GED) and a minimum of 3 years of progressively complex research project management experience. Experience with preparing and submitting scientific research proposals, creating budgets, and working in the Kuali Research Proposal system is highly desirable.
