In a nutshell, the office of Grants Accounting works with faculty members, department support personnel, and sponsoring agencies. We monitor grant expenditures for compliance with Kent State policies, government regulations, and the terms/conditions set forth by sponsors. The day-to-day work is comprised of a fair amount of auditing, a bit of forensic accounting, a dash of public administration, and lots of teamwork. We are a dynamic group of professionals with a good sense of humor looking for a sixth member to complete our team.
