Hi everyone. Wondering if any of you store ORCID ID's in Cayuse? If so, where do you store it?

    Thanks in advance!

Here at UC Irvine, we currently do not store ORCID IDs in their profile. There's no available field for it - perhaps there will be an update in the future!

There is a field when entering people into Cayuse wherein you can include an ORCID ID. I suspect you may have used a bulk enter process, but even there you could probably ope an individual person's entry and place the ORCID number in by hand.

    Dana,

Where is this field? We have HR Connect and PI info is automatically loaded so we would have to manually update each PI's  profile. Is it useful to have it included in the profile?

And while we're on this topic, do you include the eRA Commons ID, NSF ID, and/or NASA ID in their profile? We are still on the Classic Platform and enter profile info via 424.

Thanks for any info you'd like to share.

Carolyn: This is one of the fields in the Human Ethics Admin modules, when entering by hand. This is in the Profile field. But this may not be part of the other modules.

Thanks, Dana. We have the Human Ethics module, but I'm not sure how helpful it is to have this info in that module.

Interesting.  In our instance, we only have the following:
Is there somewhere else I haven't looked?  It's not in any of the other profile sections, either.  Perhaps it's a config request?  Anybody from Cayuse care to chime in, here?

    Thanks!

We have both the classic and new Platform, and our IRB module is still in the classic. For us only COI for now is on the Platform, and it looks like what Dana screenshot above. There is a field for ORCID in the profiles there. What Lisa screenshot is the classic system, where our IRB and SP still are. I know the required profile upload data are different between the two, and I don't remember seeing ORCID in the classic. Looks like there have been changes in admin/profile info in Platform.
