Hi everyone,
Based on positive feedback from community members, we've decided to turn on the ability for folks to post anonymously here in Connect. We hope this will help people feel more comfortable contributing if they're concerned about having their name and institution mentioned or if they want to ask questions.
A few things to note:
- People still have to register using their real names and a work email before posting.
- Cayuse staff is able to see the names of people posting, even if anonymous.
- Because of the two above factors, I don't anticipate we'll see any increase in spam or poor behavior.
To start a new discussion thread anonymously, just start a discussion as usual and you'll see a check box to make it anonymous:
You can also reply to discussions anonymously:
I'll also reply to this anonymously so you can see what it looks like.
