Hi Pam,
Following are our project instrument types:
Grant

Incoming Subcontract
Cooperative Agreement
Multicomponent <--this captures program projects and the like that have multiple proposals in a given competitive project segment
Industry-Sponsored Research Agreement

As we are a small and specialized institution the size of a university department, our needs are few. :-)

Subject: Project Type Categories
I realize I am sending this at the end of the day on a Friday, so I don't expect immediate answers. And it's definitely not an emergency!
I am wondering what project categories you use in your reports. I've looked at other institutions, and we seem to have quite the variety, beyond the standards like Research, Clinical Trials, Equipment, etc.
I keep thinking about updating ours to meet current practices, but of course know that is subjective.
